IF YOU DON'T GET A RESPONSE - Either your email went into spam on my server or my email got rejected by yours. CALL ME IF THAT HAPPENS.
If you get voice mail, keep in mind that sometimes (rarely, but it does happen) these systems fail, and I may not get your message. If you don't hear from me in a reasonable time, try again. If it's really urgent, leave more messages, or send a fax, send email, send smoke signals : I'd rather hear the same thing three times then never at all.
After hours and weekends are not guaranteed any response without prior arrangements. Messages are checked on weekends, but not frequently. If you know that you may need phone assistance at a particular time, let me know ahead of time and we can make more efficient arrangements.
Note that the post office is quite anal about the address being EXACTLY in that format.
Email is the preferred method of communication, unless it is urgent. I DON'T want faxes unless there is no other way to do it.

Rates
Yes, consultants are expensive. I'm more expensive than some, less expensive than others. Keep in mind that decades of experience often lets me solve problems much more quickly than people with less time under their belt. Often I can fix a problem in minutes that other people may have been trying to fix for days.

I've been involved with small computers since 1977, and with Unix since 1981. I've learned a few things along the way.
