Google, MSN and Yahoo have announced that they won't pay attention to any href tag that has "rel=nofollow" as an attribute. They think that comment spammers are simply trying to increase page rank by their graffiti links.

I doubt that's going to help. First, it isn't just page rank they are after - they also hope people will follow the links. But more importantly, they'd have to put in a link before they'd know that the "rel" tag was added in by the web page software. So, while it's a nice thought, I doubt it will help.

I have added the code here to do that, however.

    @loudmouthman: correct, but how do you prove ANYTHING like that is accurate? You can't. A text file is no better or worse than anything.

    @loudmouthman: well, a digital signature could prove it hadn't been altered. Text is no more insecure than anything else in that sense.
