Huh? Whazzat?
I thought SCO backed of on this foolishness. Well, yeah, it's not over till it's over and all that, but it sure looked like it the tail was getting ready for the tucking.
But now this? Vuunet says SCO has brought its Scosource licensing demands to UK companies. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/01/15/the_sco_ip_license_now/ reported the same thing a week ago.
I do think it is amusing that SCO points out that the indemnification insurance offered by some companies costs as much as licensing from SCO. Of course what they don't mention is that other companies like Microsoft could be waiting in the wings with their own IP claims, so if this issue worried you, you'd need insurance anyway.
Maybe SCO thinks they'll do better in European courts than they did here?

SCO is going to loose big time. SCO vs Linux users, IBM, European companies, European governments, US governments, US companies..etc etc etc...
Now that the recent e-mail leak prove that there is no SCO codes in Linux, I can't wait to see all these entities that were challenged by SCO striking back.

They even sent an amateur to defense their claims. An amateur in a sense of somebody challenge a professor who helped to co-author C programming with original creator of C programming language Ritchie in the early days of C language.
